Channelling some very serious Great Gatsby vibes with this ring which reminds me of the Chrysler Building in New York City. If you look closely at the filigree detail you can see the sunburst crown that so famously tops the iconic sky scraper.
When it opened in 1930 it was the tallest building in the world and this ring, although originally Victorian, captures Art Deco New York entirely.
This is a rare piece and one of a kind that was converted from an antique Victorian stick pin. The ring features a sparkly glass paste solitaire set among beautiful sunburst filigree details.
