A rare piece and one of a kind that was converted from an antique Victorian stick pin. The exquisite detail of the snake wrapping around the foliage is truly stunning. The ring itself is gold fill and there is a tiny jewelled glass chip among the leaves to add that little extra sparkle, although it has been a little worn by time and does not have the lustre it once must have had.
The Victorian serpent is a symbol of eternal love, wisdom and eternity. A little trend started by Prince Albert who proposed to Queen Victoria with a snake ring and it has been a highly covetable, cult worthy ring design ever since.
