This one of a kind pendant is so magical, it is the most perfect celestial charm of gleaming gold, feminine and so refined.
Made entirely by hand in New York and inspired by an ancient crescent moon intaglio.
This piece was born from a Victorian sea glass bubble found on the shores of Seaham beach, a crescent moon has been hand carved into the glass to represent Luna, the captivating personification of the moon goddess.

Seaham is world renowned for the unique pieces of sea glass that can be found on its shore.
A Victorian glass factory used to stand above the cliffs and each night any glass that was broken or unusable would be thrown into the sea below. Now hundreds of years later pieces of tumbled and polished glass, smoothed by the crashing waves, wash up to shore and can be found glinting in the sunlight.

Tactile and soft on the back, you can spend hours feeling the cooling vibrations of the glass transporting your mind to distant shores where the waves lull and soothe your senses.

( Symbolism )

This pendant embodies all the mesmerising power of the Moon and the deepest secrets of the sea.
The crescent moon dates back to second millennium BC and is the oldest symbol known to man. It became most popular in jewellery in Georgian through Victorian times in brooches and then morphed into other styles such as pendants.
Crescent moons celebrate the feminine moon goddess and therefore are associated with female empowerment.
The crescent moon also symbolises change, as it turns into a full moon and then back, similar to the ebb and flow of life.

Made using mostly recycled materials or from pieces that were once antiques, these jewels bring with them the notion of a previous life.
The beautiful sea glass subtly catches the light, reminiscent of the soft glow of the moon at night.
This talisman speaks of ancient goddesses, moonlight and modern muses.
A legacy of modern jewels for ancient souls.

The moon amulet is carved by hand and encased into a glimmering gold charm to keep close to your heart forever. The setting is made of Nu Gold and the crescent moon hangs on a 14k gold fill satellite chain to complete the celestial look.

The Moon charm measures: 2cm high by 1.5cm wide.

Necklace length: 45cm/18inch.
Please contact us should your desire a different length.

Materials: Sea Glass, Nu Gold (which resembles 14k gold), 14k Gold Fill.
