There’s just something so intensely calming about this ring.
This ring literally glows from within, casting beams of light and iridescence even in cool afternoon light.
A Victorian abalone ring with a moonbeam pool that reflects a rainbow of subtle colours.
Once upon a time a lapel pin, but now resurrected into this lucid dream which I have aptly called “Moonbeam Pools”.
Abalone Shell is said to enhance feelings of peace, compassion and love. It has a lovely warm, gentle vibration. It is great in times of tough emotional issues, soothing the nerves and encouraging a calm demeanour. It is said to gently help open our psychic and intuitive connections. No wonder this ring gives me such relaxing vibes. I feel like I’m staring at a calming pool of water, gently reflecting the iridescence of the moon above.
The ring itself is sterling silver and a one of a kind, a rare piece that was converted from an antique Victorian stick pin.
The ring sits super low on the finger and the oval shape elongates your hand. Simple and so sophisticated, and you can still make out the word "sterling" on the back of the ring.
Did you know, abalone shell is much less abundant than mother of pearl, making this ring a much rarer piece to come across.
