The owl is divinely detailed, its eyes piercing through the darkness of the night whilst encircled by the moon.
Charged with symbolism, crescent moons in Victorian jewellery often represented spirituality, the mystery of feminine energy and cyclical change, whilst the Victorian Owl was a symbol of wisdom and truth, knowledge and intuition.
In ancient times the owl was a symbol for Athena, the Greek goddess of wisdom and strategy.
