☽
I want you to remember this ring, every time you read that phrase that gets thrown around so casually “one of a kind”, I want you to picture this ring. A ring that you, or I, will possess for a mere fleeting moment in time, a blip in its history really, but that will be forever engraved in our minds. Haunting our thoughts with an indelible picture of what is but a trinket, that now consumes our very soul. That unusually shaped peridot, shifting between arsenic and absinthe shades of green, those four tiny mermaid tears that call out to the cardinal points, the silky enamel and of course the glistening gold.
An incredibly rare Victorian stick pin that was converted into a stunning, one of a kind Peridot ring. The green stone is kite shaped and four iridescent natural pearls are dotted around its points. The setting is made of 14k gold and finished with a creamy enamel.
The craftsmanship of this ring is second to none and you will not find another one like it.
Peridot Properties ☽
Peridot is the birthstone for the month of August, it is also given in celebration of the 16th year of marriage. Known as the stone of compassion, peridot is believed to bring good health, restful sleep and peace to relationships by balancing emotions and mind. This bright green stone also has the uncanny ability to inspire eloquence and creativity; it also brings delight and good cheer. It attracts love and calms anger by giving renewal to all things.
The original bezel setting was retained around the stone and the original pin was used to create the band.
A truly rare piece to add to your collection, to add to your story and one day be handed down.
A tiny portion of the enamel has worn slightly due to age but this is not noticeable when worn.
