✶
This is a really rare piece that was converted from an antique Victorian stick pin. The original stick pin had a signature that I could not make out and judging by the exquisite detail of the snake, it’s a highly collectable design. The ring features the most amazing snake, wrapped around a gorgeous purple stone. The detail on the snake is truly stunning, the stone could be an amethyst or it might be glass paste as was also customary at the time. The ring itself is gold fill. The snake has a rhinestone on its head to add a little extra sparkle to the piece.

The Victorian serpent is a symbol of eternal love, wisdom and eternity. A little trend started by Prince Albert who proposed to Queen Victoria with a snake ring and it has been a highly covetable, cult worthy ring design ever since.
